Where did the summer go?
I hope you get in one more fun vacation before the school year starts. My grandma was so right, the older you get, it seems time flies by John and I celebrated 45 years of marriage by taking the Rocky Mountaineer train through the Canadian Rockies. Remembering Danny
I would like to take a moment and remember my brother Danny. We lost him several years ago to diabetes. What a dreadful disease. I do not know about you but in my case I did not realize how many memories we shared until I started telling a story to my younger brothers and of course they were babies and they did not know what I was talking about. I could not call Danny and say, “Danny, tell them this story really happened.”
My daughter Katherine wrote a song and recorded it for him the night he went to heaven. Angel at Dawn. She referred to a tree, which was one Danny and I climbed when we were kids. I hope you enjoy the song. I would love to have your thoughts.
