Family Birthday Bliss
One of my favorite yearly traditions is baking my grandson’s birthday cake. This year’s theme? Pirates! The cake featured a giant frothy wave that I’m particularly proud of. If you’d like to know my decorating trick, send me an email, I’m happy to share!
Virginia Adventures
We’re enjoying some beautiful family time in Virginia. You know you’ve raised your children well when your daughter hosts a dinner party and sets the table with China. She cooked everything from scratch, and her dinner theme; “Everything Pumpkin”, was deliciously creative. The pumpkin bread and pumpkin ice cream stole the show. Halloween at Club Pilates Falls Church is always a treat! This year, my grandson requested that I dress as a princess—and of course, I said yes. Crown, sparkle, and all! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and slightly spooky Halloween.
