Celebration
Recently, my sister-in-law planned a beautiful getaway for our family to Galveston, Texas; four days of sun, sand, and celebration! It was extra special because we marked my brothers’ 29th wedding anniversary with laughter and love, surrounded by those dearest to us.

Galveston isn’t just a beach for our family; it’s a treasure chest of childhood memories. My parents used to whisk us off to its sandy shores whenever they could. If time was tight, we’d dash to Sylvan Beach in La Porte, Texas, and enjoy every minute—proof that magic is always around the corner.
The Nook
One of my favorite moments was discovering what we call ‘the nook’ — perched at the top of the beach house, with sweeping views of sky and sea. It was the perfect place to write, letting new places and old memories blend together, and allowing inspiration to sneak in through the window
